Announcing the Beneath the Sea Dive and Adventure Expo

Right now, deep in the hot heart of summer, is the time to take advantage of the cool offers from Beneath the Sea, America’s longest-running and most successful dive exposition in the east.

Only 10 minutes from New York City and a mere 8 minutes from mid-town New York when you take the bus from the stop right outside the Beneath the Sea expo center front door.

Beneath the Sea is conveniently located near the three major airports serving the New York City metro area and New Jersey. For those of you who might be flying your aircraft or arriving on a private flight, nearby Teterboro Airport serves General Aviation.

Of course Beneath the Sea offers free parking, a wide selection of restaurants throughout the area, and The American Dream Mall complete with water park, game room, Sesame Street – Learn & Play, a rink, Legoland, a Dream Wheel, mini golf, shopping, and food courts, for those of your family who want an extra something.

Being New York City’s neighbor, you have access to Broadway, the Museum Mile, and you are only a short subway ride from the Aquarium at Coney Island and the Bronx Zoo.

But you have come for the exposition, so you should know Beneath the Sea this year is placing additional emphasis on adventure travel, both above and below the sea. It will not be just sharks, mantas, and morays that pick up your pulse rate; how about kayaking down the rivers of Australia, or shooting white water rapids on a rafting trip down a river in Bali?

Explore forests, get close to an active volcano, take a bike hike, zip line across valleys and rivers, or perhaps you would like to get your hooks into one of the big fish. I offer only a brief sampling of the ideas Beneath the Sea is looking to host for its 47th anniversary show.

Friday, March 27, is Marine Careers Day and move-in day for exhibitors.  Friday is also the day we present the Marine Sciences Workshop and the Public Safety workshop.

Beneath the Sea has consistently commanded an audience from as far west as Ohio, north to Maine and Canada, South to Maryland and North Carolina. We are the New York Metro Area, also known as the tri-state area. It is also, with a landmass of 4,669 square miles,  the largest physical marketplace in the world, and the largest metropolitan economy in the world.

We believe this is an audience you will not want to miss out on.
