USDiveShows Inc. has announced a change in the management structure of the company. The dive and travel adventure show producer, formerly led by partners Brad Nolan and Brian Miller, is now operating solely with Mr. Miller at the helm. Mr. Miller also announced plans for two shows in 2019: the Balto/DCDiveShow, Feb. 22-23, 2019, in Washington, D.C.; and the SFO Dive & Travel Show, Apr. 26-27, 2019, in Santa Clara, Calif.
“Moving the Baltimore/DCDiveShow to Washington, D.C., places the show in a more strategic location, based on our attendance figures from the January 2018 show,” said Mr. Miller. “Access to the show will be much easier both for exhibitors and consumers.” He said the new venue will allow for more growth and the addition of an evening theater event.
The second dive and travel adventure show in 2019, in Santa Clara, will use the same format as the D.C. show with its emphasis on support for the local diving retail and travel markets.
USDiveShows also has assumed into its structure DIVE HOPE, an annual breast cancer fund raising dive event Mr. Miller has conducted since 2008. “I hope we can add such an event as DIVE HOPE in the D.C. area in the near future,” he said, adding, “It takes the support of the entire industry to make these events successful.”
The USDiveShows web page is under construction, combining the Balto/DCDiveShow, SFO Dive & Travel Show and DIVE HOPE into one site for industry viewers. Stand-alone websites for each event also are being readied for consumers. The websites will launch in April 2018.
