Recognizing that Local Dive Shops are the cornerstone of the dive industry, Truli Wetsuits blends the convenience and value of its e-commerce model with the personal service of brick and mortar retailers. The introduction of Truli Wetsuits – Designated Fitting Sites allows Local Dive Shops to meet the needs of their female customers and makes it easier for women divers to find their perfect fitting wetsuit. The inaugural Designated Fitting Site was set up this past summer at Divers Den in the shipwreck diving capital of Canada – Tobermory, Ontario.
Retailers who are Truli Wetsuits – Designated Fitting Sites are not required to purchase inventory. Instead, they function as a location where women can be professionally fitted in person by Local Dive Shop staff and experience firsthand which size works best for them. Truli Wetsuits provides the training, manages the shipping and logistics of fulfillment and the retailer earns a commission on each sale. The LDS benefits from being aligned with Truli’s principles and mission to improve access to scuba diving by ensuring appropriate exposure suits are available for everyBODY.
