Quino El Guardian DEMA Show Special – Buy 3 Spaces, Get 1 Free

Quino El Guardian is part of the Rocio Del Mar fleet traveling to the magical destinations of Socorro and the Sea of Cortez.

What makes traveling with us so special is our crew; from the Captain to our Divemasters, from the Panga Drivers to the Steward, all work together to ensure not only a comfortable and safe voyage, but you will come away knowing you have an entirely new family in Mexico. And the cuisine! Be sure to come hungry as our Chef’s mission is to wow you day after day with delicious entrees and homemade desserts.

Many of our crew have been with us for years and go back and forth between both vessels so they are very experienced with all of the nuances of what needs to take place. Our guests just sit back and relax and let us do what we do best – make memorable and magical dive vacations!

From November to May we travel to Socorro with over 7 species of sharks including Hammerheads, playful dolphins, clouds of Jacks and Barracuda, Tuna, and Wahoo. Yet the claim to fame are the giant Manta Rays that are so friendly they seem to be on our payroll going from diver to diver … just who is observing who?.

From July through September, we visit the magical Sea of Cortez and Midriff Islands where divers play with sea lion colonies and snorkel with whale sharks. Encounter giant pods of dolphins, large and small whale species, jumping Mobula rays and see stars so bright you think you could touch them.

September through November we have 13-day Explore Baja Expeditions in which we travel from one end of Baja to the next as well as Southern Safaris which take us all over the Southern Sea of Cortez with crystal clear waters and even a stop in world-famous Cabo Pulmo with schools of fish so big they block out the sun.

The “El Guardian” part of Quino’s name means “The Guardian” and this is because half of our trips are Citizen Science expeditions where scientists are on board researching sharks, manta rays, reef biology, climate and human impact, migration, and more and involve guests in their studies. Guests can enjoy daily presentations and participate as much or as little as they like.

Our boats are Mexican and we sail under the Mexico flag. Our crew are all Mexican and we are proud to call Mexico home.
