New Dive Vessel Being Built for Volivoli Beach Resort Fleet

Ra Divers, the on-site dive operation at Volivoli Beach Resort, has announced a new addition to the fleet of dive vessels – the Volivoli Cat.

The three Darling boys owner operators of Ra Diver, Volivoli Beach Resort have decided to go to a Hydrofoil Catamaran Hull for the new addition to their dive boat fleet. They believe the catamaran will offer  divers more stability at rest and under power, also offering the added benefit of more room on the dive deck.

Named  the “ Volivoli Cat” the vessel will be surveyed for 24 passengers meaning groups of 18 Divers plus crew can comfortably enjoy a fast and smooth ride to the dive sites daily. The boys are expecting to take delivery of this brand new custom built dive boat in December 2017. The Darling family are also partners in the ownership of the Fiji Siren – making Volivoli Beach Resort the only resort in Fiji to offer both a land based and live-aboard experience to their divers

Volivoli Beach first opened its doors in November 2005, and since then we have been welcoming travellers from all over the world. The resort is owned and managed by the Darling Family who first came to Fiji from New Zealand in 1993. They fell in love with the friendly, laid-back atmosphere and the great climate, and decided to purchase Ra Divers, the popular dive business located at Volivoli Beach, in 2003.
