Maduro Dive is expanding and immediately seeks qualified sales agent candidates.
Responsibilities of this full time position will include dive travel sales thru furnished sales leads, inbound phone calls, ongoing integrated marketing support and proactive sales efforts to existing and new clients. The client base for the sales agent is comprised of individuals, dive retailers and travel agents. There will be extensive organized follow up on sales leads via email and phone calls for individual and group business, communications with dive resorts and liveaboard suppliers as well as issuing airline tickets. The position will be home based and all systems needed are available 24/7. The individual would have wide-ranging interaction and collaboration with other Maduro Dive associates involved with sales, accounting, marketing and administration. The position will report to the Director of Operations and Managing Director.
Ideal candidates for this opportunity must have proven experiencewith knowledge of dive destinations and success in selling dive travel to individuals and group organizers for dive resorts and liveaboards in multiple geographic dive destinations. They must be a certified diver and knowledgeable travel agent with air ticketing capability thru a GDS such as Sabre. They need to be securely computer literate with familiarity of input to a reservation booking system and an aptitude for detail. Maduro Dive does not have house accounts nor does it have limits on earnings.
