Amphibico Announces plans for New SONY PMW-F3 Housing

New product targeted for release this Summer.

Released on: 3/30/2011

Amphibico is currently designing an underwater housing for the SONY PMW-F3 camcorder.  Still in design, this housing will allow users to have what Sony states is a “breakthrough for independent producers and filmmakers”. With many features, great performance and reasonable pricing point, the new SONY PMW-F3 and Amphibico’s housing combined will bring underwater videographers much to anticipate.

As with all Amphibico housings, users can expect a robust electronic housing made of marine grade aluminum and stainless steel hardware with many accessible features. Quality and innovation is first and foremost in all Amphibico designs and this will be no different for the F3 housing.

The slated release date is for August 2011, so keep checking www.amphibico.com for more information as it presents itself in the coming months.

On another note, Amphibico is contemplating designing a very special housing for the very special RED Epic camera. There are still no confirmed plans, as we are still in the research process.  If you would like to send feedback, as to why you think the company should design an underwater housing for the RED Epic, please email to info@amphibico.com
